Why "Garden Safe"?
Garden Safe was developed to be the answer to "What laundry powder should I use in My Grey Water Gator". It is specifically formulated as a concentrate so that you use less product and that your waste water will be very low in soluble salts, making it garden friendly. It is always good practice to check you soil type and plant compatibility before reusing any grey water on your garden.
Is it “Garden Safe”?
We have been using grey water on our garden for a few years, with only positive results. We are continually testing our Grey Water Gator and Gator Pro products to ensure everything is operating as it should, so our garden is only ever watered with grey water (except when it rains). We have used Garden Safe for the past 18 months and the garden is as happy as ever. Always check your on-site conditions. Heavy clay soils will react differently to light sandy loam soils, and not all plants will like recycled water.
Can you use it in cold water?
Yes, you can use Garden Safe in hot or cold water, and it will dissolve. It doesn’t leave a white residue on your dark clothes, and will give you a great result.
Do you really only use one small scoop?
Garden Safe is a concentrated product, and one small scoop (25 grams) is enough for a light load of washing. Of course if you have very soiled washing, you can add one or two more scoops, which is still a very small quantity compared to many leading brands. There are no fillers used in Garden Safe, which is great for allergy sufferers. In hard water situations you will need to use more laundry powder, no matter who manufactures the product.
What Are Fillers?
Fillers are used to “bulk out” washing powder. They can be the cause of allergies as they can leave a residue on the fabric. Fillers also leave deposits in the washing machine.
Is Garden Safe available in my Supermarket?
Reselling into supermarket chains is expensive and also somewhat difficult. Garden Safe was developed to go hand in hand with our Grey Water saving range. Why 10 kilo boxes?
Our Company Policy is to do all we can to reduce our impact on the environment. Smaller boxes are easier to throw into your shopping trolley every week, but then you have to also dispose of the packaging every week. By producing a concentrated product and putting it in a larger box, our customers are reducing their waste as they only buy a box once or twice a year. And the box is recyclable.
